Heavens Plea.

God is the person who breathed life into you, who knitted you in your mother’s womb.
He created your inmost being,
and enabled you to bloom.
He knows the number of hairs on your head; he knows your desires,
your worries,
your thoughts, and your fears.
God is t h i r s t i n g for a relationship with you, yet you turn your back on him daily.
You mock and insult him, slandering him continually.
You go about your day not paying him any thought,
but wonder why everything you do in life always falls short.

But God’s love is the type of love that chases you down even when you’re running,
it fights for you even whilst you are sleeping.
It saved you even before you were drowning,
it quietens your thirst like a spring or a fountain.
It died for you before you were conceived,
it loved on you before you believed.
It meets with you in your time of depression;
it offers you a safe place to rest your head, as soft as a cushion.
He’s light in the darkness, the calm in the storm,
He comforts and protects you in the nightfall.
NoThing can separate God from his children;
no sin, no death, his love is a given.
He chases us down like the tides chase the shores.
He comforts, he strengthens, and he restores.
Your soul is y e a r n i n g for him; surrender to your God,
when you accept Jesus as LORD, there is great applause.
C r y out to him, reveal your whole heart;
he’ll never fail you, he’ll never depart.
His love is as deep as the ocean, as vast as the night sky.
It’s a firework display, an eruption of light entering your eyes.
Its the warmth of the sun, the fullness of the moon.
It’s the caressing and blanket of a cocoon.
It’s the pitter patter of rain, kissing the ground.
It’s the verse, it’s the chorus, it’s the symphony of song.
His love is kind, sweet to those who embrace it.
It’s non discriminatory, it’s inclusive, everyone can dwell in it.
It’s poetry in motion, sweet on your tongue.
It’s passion, it’s fire, it’s strength in your lungs.
You may ignore God; not paying him mind, but he doesn’t ignore you, for you are his child.

‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you’.
Mathew 7:7
