Lukewarm Christianity.

The body of Christ is like a body of water. It could either be flowing, or stagnant.

Stagnant water is water that is restricted to a particular space, and is still and lifeless.
It’s dead, motionless, stationary, limp, and doesn’t flow. Because of its stationary position, it gives off displeasing stench.
If you’re a comfortable Christian, restricted to routine, ways of thinking, or people’s opinions of you. You are static dull and flat, or stuck in fear.

If you’re flowing water it means you are smooth, graceful, and moving without a change in direction. It also means you are receiving an influx of water. When you’re flowing water it means you are hearing from God, and God is providing a current in which you can flow.
Don’t be a stagnant pond that gives off a displeasing smell to God. Instead, get rid of distractions in your life, and get close to God so you can be connected to his current, allowing you to flow.

So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
Revelation 3:16

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Mathew 7:21
